Art for Artists Sake

Sale St transforms from bar and restaurant to art gallery as the popular Auckland venue plays host to the first ever Art for Artists Sake charity auction on 17 October. Art for Artists Sake is a new concept that has been created by Aucklander Ren Kirk to help raise money for Youthline, New Zealand's largest youth development and support service.

Sixteen Kiwi musicians have been asked to create a piece of art to be auctioned to the public. Artists contributing to the cause include Hollie Smith, Julia Deans and Riki Gooch.
