Banksy, Who art thou?

Born in Bristol in 1974. Banksy is British graffiti artist, political activist and painter. Often stencilling his works, he certainly has one wicked sense of humour. Rumour has it his works have been auctioned on site, with there removal left to the winning bidder?!?

Go figure. Banksy’s first film "Exit Through the Gift Shop" was released in March of this year (2010) and was dubbed “the world’s first street art disaster movie” Cue excessive punctuation once more?!?!?.

Prior to its release a number of new works popped up on city walls like there was no tomorrow. His works are fantastically clever, at times thoroughly thought provoking and often have quite a sensitive angle to them.
