YogaMagic Eco Retreat, GoaYogaMagic Eco Retreat is beautifully tucked away from all the hustle and bustle that one might be likely to encounter on there enchanting journey to and around India. Away from the madness of it all, sits this cosy, humble abode that is home to the gorgeous Phil and Juliet. Brittish expats that settled in this idyllic, chilled out part of the world a number of years ago, have created an amazing space that people from all walks of life will feel so incredibly at home at. The minute I set foot inside the main house, the soothing of my soul was almost instant. Not to mention the delicious juice concoction exploding with goodness that was quickly thrust into my hand upon arrival. A main house that homes guests in two cosy suites, both equipped with ensuite bathroom and easy flow to the veranda and pool. You'll be sure to catch up on some much needed book therapy here. Yoga isn't compulsory but should you give it a go, Blue will be sure to delight with his beautifully gentle routine of what definitely felt like the most regenerative yoga class I have even partaken in. YogaMagic is famous for the seasonal event that takes place in the back garden and this just isn't any old back garden ;) Each year beautifully appointed canvas tents are erected for the season, equipped with en-suites and there own variation of a walk in robe, front porch and easy access to the garden restaurant and outdoor yoga space. Not to mention one very clever, aesthetically pleasing, compost toilet! It is truely a sight to behold, the wider creation of the retreat, not the toilet and would be one of the greatest labors of love I have seen in all my travels. YogaMagic is most definitely MOOCH APPROVED and is a real credit to it's most delightful proprietors. I can't wait to go back! Om Shanti and enjoy. |
